Children’s Ministry

January 14, 2018 9:30 am January 14, 2018 10:30 am America/New_York Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry kicks off on the 2nd Sunday of September and runs through the 3rd Sunday in June.  Realizing that many children do not get the opportunity to worship on a consistent basis, we start at 9:30am with twenty minutes of kid-friendly worship where kids are actively involved.  After worship, our kids split into three groups:      Precious Priests: Preschool/Kindergarten      Faithful Friars: 1st – 4th grade      Merry Monks: 5th – 8th grade Our Precious Priests will go to their own “Green Room” to further explore the Bible story with a variety of hands-on activities. Our Faithful Friars will rotate to a different activity site each week, led by members of St. Paul’s. Castle Kitchen (snack making) Joyful Jesters (games and activities) Amazing Artisans (arts and crafts) Servant Quarters (service projects) Our “Merry Monks” will meet every Sunday morning in the Youth Room. Their activities are varied and could include: working on a long term service project preparing the Bible story skit exploring one of Jesis’ parables helping out in one of our Children’s Ministry classes
