St. Paul’s has an active Senior Ministries program that offers a wide variety of experiences that include:

  • Faith

  • Fun

  • Food

  • Friendship

  • Fellowship

  • AND Fascination!

Even though we call ourselves “Seniors”, our events are open to everyone; members of St. Paul’s, their friends, our neighbors and people of all ages.

SENIOR LUNCH AND BIBLE STUDY

Every third Thursday of the month we meet at 12 noon for lunch and Bible Study.  We focus on the Bible readings for the upcoming Sunday.  What did these texts mean when written and how do they speak to us today?  No advance preparation by participants is required,  just bring your Bible and a bag lunch!

MONTHLY SENIOR EVENTS

Our monthly social senior events really vary!  We could go on a field trip, be visited by an inspirational speaker, or enjoy a musical program. Senior events are open to everyone; all members of St. Paul’s, their friends, our neighbors, and people of all ages! Our Senior Ministry Coordinator Team meets regularly to plan and organize our events.  Let us know if you have an idea or suggestion for future events! Our new year of Senior Ministry events will be starting again soon, so stay tuned for updates!

Other Senior Ministries

Other caring ministries include sharing Holy Communion with homebound members, Transportation Ministry for local trips (church, medical appointments) and a Grief Support Team. Many of our Senior Ministry members give support and leadership to the congregation in general by serving on Church Council, Altar Guild, choirs, ushers, teachers, Office volunteers, etc.
